He found a Duplo pitch fork and a random brick and started using them together. He bangs the pitchfork somewhere on the brick and then shoves it into someone's mouth. So far Corin and I have been fed. He seems very proud of himself.

Eat
Nevin has taken to signing eat. All. The. Time.
He signs it when he wants to nurse (which is any time he can see my chest). He signs it in the kitchen. He signs it in the dining room. He signs it when daddy gets home (because dinner comes shortly after).
Fortunately, this followed a day where he walked into the kitchen, went to the lazy susan, got a packet of applesauce, walked to the dining room (waiting for me at the door) to get to his high chair, waited to be picked up, handed me the pouch to open, took it away when I tried to feed him with a spoon, and then proceeded to suck every ounce out of food from it.
You'd think we were starving him.

Communication
Everything right now starts with a "D". However, I am starting to understand words.
Tonight, we were nursing before bed. He sits up. "Dun." He looks at the door. "Dada." He looks back at me. "Do do do" (and those rhyme with go because that's what he's saying.) Then he starts waving goodbye to me.
Yes, sir. Message received.

Walking
He's starting to prefer to walk instead of crawl. He can only take a few steps (have seen as many as 5). Nevertheless, he will pretty consistently crawl to someplace he can pull up, take those steps and then crawl to pull up again. Not too much longer.

New tooth
He got a new tooth recently. It's the too right front tooth. I was trying to keep track of when it popped through. Sadly, I didn't learn it was out by feeling it. I learned because I heard him grinding it together with his bottom teeth. *cringe*

Cure the ills
I wish I could fix it, little man. First fever. Snotty nose. Working on lots of teeth (top right front and bottom molars) makes for a cranky baby. We will make it through. Eventually.
